Fantasy the Almiquie bought a copy of the game this morning and has already beat the Heroes story and got hear a lot of the cast, but unfortunately hasn’t seen the game’s credits appear yet, so we can get the names of the cast. In order, the clips released are Amy, Sonic, Cream, Vector. Sonic Riders is a 2006 racing video game for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox in which the player controls characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog series on hoverboards.In the game's 16 tracks, the player competes against characters—either controlled by computers or other players—in story and battle modes.
Team Dark lacks their usual 'power' character, Omega. Why? Never explained.
Team Rose is also missing their usual number three Big The Cat, with Vector The Crocodile filling in.
Fan Nickname: The Babylon Guardian is dubbed 'Angelus the Gatekeeper' by fans, citing the Japanese versionbeing the source of this name.
God Never Said That: In Japan, the character is only known as the Guardian.
Ascended Fanon: Angelus was later used for the character's Archie counterpart.
Franchise Killer: Free Riders' abysmal reception has pretty much ended any hope for the continuation of the Riders subseries.

The Other Darrin: Free Riders is the first North American game to use the new voice cast, beating Sonic Colors by eleven days. Also, the first Riders had Mike Pollock voice Dr. Eggman during the cutscenes and Deem Bristow voice him as a playable character, through voice clips from Sonic Adventure 2.
Posthumous Credit: In the first game, while Mike Pollock voices Eggman in the cutscenes, the in-game voice clips are provided by the late Deem Bristow (by reusing his voice clips from Sonic Adventure 2), who had passed away a year before the games release.

In Free Riders, Wave and Tails are both played by Kate Higgins. The Knuckles/Storm parallel is kept; they're both voiced by Travis Willingham.
